Nova Scotia Safety Regulations:

Nova Scotia Safety Regulations are based on the type of workplace and the number of employees in the workplace.  Please read through the safety regulations to determine the type of First Aid training and safety equipment required for your workplace. There are a variety of first aid kits recommended for all different size work places.  



 

Training and First Aid Equipment Requirements:

Minimum of 1 full-time employee in a workplace where no one available who could administer first aid or summon assistance within a reasonable length of time
Office (Stand-alone, independent)
1-19 workers (non-office). Includes vehicles, boats and aircraft.
