Prince Edward Island Safety Regulations are based on the type of workplace and the number of employees in the workplace. Please read through the safety regulations to determine the type of First Aid training and safety equipment required for your workplace. There are a variety of first aid kits recommended for all different size work places.

| 5-15 employees | Kit No. 2 | The First Aid Service must be in charge of a worker who has a valid Emergency First Aid & CPR certificate |
| 16-100 employees | Kit No. 3 | The First Aid Service must be in charge of a worker who has a valid Standard First Aid & CPR certificate |
| More than 100 workers | Kit No. 3 & First Aid Room | The First Aid Service must be in charge of a worker who has a valid Advanced First Aid & CPR certificate |
