Attention all students! The Holiday season is among us, which means you will all have a break from school and studying. Of course, this is a time of year where we gather with our loved ones and celebrate another year’s end, but what are you doing on all of your other days off? Do you have some empty days where you want to get ahead on the following semester? If so, we have a treat for you.
Why not take a First Aid safety course during your holiday break? You can choose between 3 course levels that will best suit your needs. We offer a variety of courses all over Southern Ontario and the GTA. Take a look below for detailed course descriptions.
This course included training in AED (Automated External Defibrillation) and CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation). This course will provide you with the skills of being able to recognize and respond to cardiovascular emergencies, like choking. This is a one-day course that runs between 4-6 hours.
This course includes the same teachings as the CPR course, and then come. It is a one-day course that takes a look at first aid and CPR skills (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and their guidelines. Additionally, it includes injury prevention and AED training. This course is required for Ontario workplaces of 1-5 employees per work area per shift. This is a full day course, running between 7-8 hours.
This is a two-day extensive course that focuses on first aid training and CPR skills. Those who take this training need it for work requirements or for those who want more knowledge to respond to home emergencies. This course is a requirement for Ontario workplaces of 6 or more employees per work area per shift.
