Nova Scotia Safety Regulations are based on the type of workplace and the number of employees in the workplace. Please read through the safety regulations to determine the type of First Aid training and safety equipment required for your workplace. First Aid  Requirements for Nova Scotia Workplaces

Any worksite where a full time employee regularly works alone where no one can give first aid or call assistance in a reasonable time 1 Emergency First Aider Minimum of a No. 1 First Aid Kit
Office(Stand-alone, independent) 1 Emergency First Aider/shift Minimum of a No. 1 First Aid Kit
1-19 workers (non-office). Includes vehicles, boats and aircraft. 1 Emergency First Aider/shift Minimum of a No. 2 First Aid Kit
20-99 workers (non-office). Includes vehicles, boats and aircraft. 1 Standard First Aider/shift Minimum of a No. 3 First Aid Kit
100 or more workers (non-office). Includes vehicles, boats and aircraft. 1 Advanced First Aider/shift First Aid Room
